The Slow Foods Movement is all about promoting local food and traditional cooking. An alternative to fast foods, Slow Foods strive to preserve traditional and regional cuisine and encourages the farming of plants, seeds, and livestock characteristic of the local ecosystem. It’s a commitment to quality instead of a commitment to speed.
